We are seeking a seasoned Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Noodlebox. This role is perfect for individuals who possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse range of tasks.

About the Role

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of our staff, ensuring that they have the necessary training and equipment to perform their duties effectively.

You will also be responsible for establishing methods to meet work schedules, estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. Additionally, you will prepare budget and cost estimates, address customer complaints, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

This is a permanent position with 35-40 hours per week. You will be working with a team of 5-10 people and communicating in English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
  • Supervise and train staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies as needed
  • Maintain high-quality food and service standards
  • Prepare and submit accurate financial reports and forecasts
  • Address customer complaints and feedback
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
