Chief Information Security Officer

About the RoleThe Chief Information Security Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive information security strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives. This includes identifying and mitigating information security risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing leadership and direction to the information security team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement an information security strategy that addresses business needs and ensures the protection of company assets
- Identify, evaluate, and report on information security risks in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements
- Provide leadership and direction to the information security team, including managing a team of information security professionals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and executive leadership, to define enterprise security standards and manage risk
- Develop and maintain up-to-date information security policies, standards, and guidelines
- Ensure compliance with all relevant information security laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
- Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or information security is a plus
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience in implementing information security strategies
- Experience managing a team of information security professionals
