About the Role

Benevity is a leading provider of corporate social responsibility and employee engagement solutions. We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Information Security Officer to join our team and help us drive our technology-driven growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy to protect our company's assets and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Lead the security operations team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define enterprise security standards and manage risk.
  • Identify, evaluate, and report on information security risks, and communicate risks to executive leadership and the Board.
  • Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and guidelines, and ensure compliance with all relevant information security laws and regulations.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning among technical teams, promoting cross-functional communication and the exchange of ideas.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or information security is a plus.
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in implementing information security strategies.
  • Experience managing a team of information security professionals.
