### Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Information Security Officer to join our team on a freelance basis for an initial 6-month contract. As a Freelance Information Security Officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations within our organization.

### Key Responsibilities

* Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and assess the effectiveness of security controls.
* Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with government regulations and industry best practices.
* Coordinate with IT teams and external vendors to implement security controls and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption solutions.

### Requirements

* Strong knowledge of information security frameworks, standards, and regulations, including GDPR, NIST, and ISO.
* Fluency in Dutch.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
