Farm Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at SANTAN ESTATES (NIAGARA) INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our farm, ensuring the efficient and effective management of our agricultural crops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks and optimize crop growth.
  • Direct and oversee the activities of farm staff, including deleafing, inventory management, and grooming.
  • Guide and train staff to ensure optimal development of crops.
  • Implement soil fertility programs and maintain accurate financial and production records.
  • Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain work records and logs, and hire and train staff as needed.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a 35-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English.
