About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at SANTAN ESTATES (NIAGARA) INC. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the efficient and effective production of crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Crop Plans

Develop specific plans to prioritize crop growth and development, taking into account factors such as soil quality, weather conditions, and market demand.

Direct Agricultural Operations

Direct and oversee the daily activities of our farm, including crop deleafing, feed inventory management, and farm grooming.

Supervise and Train Staff

Supervise and train a team of staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Maintain Records and Reports

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports of farm activities, including financial and production data.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as agriculture or horticulture.

Experience

At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a farm or agricultural setting.

Language

Fluency in English is required.
