Farm Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Farm Operations Manager to join our team at SANTAN ESTATES (NIAGARA) INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our farm, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality crops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks and optimize crop production
  • Direct and oversee agricultural crop deleafing activities, farm feed inventory management, and farm grooming
  • Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions and implement soil fertility programs
  • Maintain accurate financial and production records, and supervise crop-related operations
  • Hire and train staff to ensure a skilled and efficient workforce

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in farm operations management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

Working Conditions:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language required
