Job Title: General Manager Thrift Shop

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our Thrift Shop in Abbotsford, British Columbia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shop, managing a team of department heads, and driving sales growth through innovative strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the shop's leadership team and oversee department heads
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Manage inventory, pricing, and merchandising to maximize sales
  • Ensure excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience
  • Collaborate with the Director of Social Enterprise on special projects and initiatives
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant thrift or retail experience
  • Post-secondary education in business management or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of driving retail innovation and process improvements
  • Current First Aid Training Certification and Verbal Intervention Training Certification
  • Satisfactory criminal record check and valid driver's license
