Accounting Technician Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Spectrum Building Services Co Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process payroll cheques, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Calculate and record fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Manage and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Post journal entries and prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare trial balances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • English language proficiency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • 35 to 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
