About the Role

We are seeking a Financial Advisor to join our team, focusing on serving Indigenous communities. As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, building strong relationships, and delivering against individual and team sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take a proactive approach to discovering customer needs, listening to understand what they are asking for
  • Educate customers, providing relevant insights and expert advice
  • Build comprehensive plans using a holistic approach to help customers achieve their goals
  • Nurture strong, long-standing relationships
  • Develop, retain, and grow the branch business by delivering against individual and team sales goals that support a positive customer experience

Requirements

  • The appetite and drive to build strong customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service
  • You're self-directed, performance-oriented in your approach
  • Natural curiosity to uncover and solve for customers' needs to help them achieve their financial goals
  • Willingness to complete industry-related courses needed for your role, which Scotiabank will support with tuition reimbursement and focused learning groups
  • Mutual Funds license and working towards the CIFP Diploma
