Job Summary

NORTHERN LIGHTING is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design operations, and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks
  • Supervise technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts, and other engineers
  • Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications
  • Design electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment
  • Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • On-site work required
  • Green job: contributes to environmental preservation, conservation, and restoration
