We are seeking an experienced Software Infrastructure Architect to join our team at RECRUITMENT PARTNERS INC. in this exciting role.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the planning process and delivery of architecture within capital projects. This involves providing application solutions or mentoring and review for application solutions within capital projects, developing application architectures that support IT infrastructure, and contributing to high reliability, availability, and performance required for business operations.

About the Role

This role reports directly to the Senior Manager in Architecture. Success will be defined by your ability to:

  • Provide application solutions or mentoring and review for application solutions within capital projects
  • Develop application architectures that support IT infrastructure and contribute to high levels of reliability, availability, and performance required for business operations
  • Improve business performance, mitigate risk, and reduce IT costs by consolidating, standardizing, and integrating corporate information systems
  • Identify necessary budget requirements for provision of information technology and computing infrastructure along with changes to existing environment to support Information Services business unit
  • Determine current state and future technology state and architecting solutions to move from current to future states
  • Demonstrate easy-to-do-business-with high-performance, safe, accountable, innovative, and achievement-oriented manner of working

Your strengths include:

  • 6+ years of Information Technology experience, ideally a large portion of time spent doing capital projects or solution architecture in a mix of Azure cloud platform and Oracle technology stack (on-prem)
  • Critical analytical skills to determine best direction for solution architecture through review of multiple data sources
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to ensure all options reviewed and single solution considered for client
  • Good communication and presentation skills to solicit input for architecture and ensure others in Information Technology understand architecture and rationale
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Stream Analytics, and Azure Data Factory
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL
  • Scripting skills for automation and data manipulation
  • Understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and cost management
  • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka beneficial for handling large-scale data processing and real-time analytics
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and tools, such as Azure Machine Learning, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
  • Experience building and deploying machine learning models a plus
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
