Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Rose International. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex network infrastructure projects and contribute to the success of our organization.

About the Role

The Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting our network infrastructure, including the F5 Web Access Firewall (WAF). The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of network concepts, routing and switching, and firewall security policy management.

This role requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure architecture and the relationships among the components that make up an IT service from end-user devices to servers, networks, storage, applications, and data.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Cisco layer 1-3 technologies, including the planning, design, and implementation of intermediate to large-scale network infrastructure.

They will also have expertise in migrating, upgrading, and optimizing F5 BIG-IP systems, as well as experience with traffic management, troubleshooting application delivery issues, and optimizing load balancing for high availability and performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on implementation, upgrading, trouble-shooting of network software and hardware infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with team members and supported ministries.

This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring, analysis, and reporting, as well as the ability to manage and prioritize workload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and support network infrastructure, including the F5 WAF
  • Responsible for implementing, modernizing, managing, and supporting our network infrastructure
  • Proactive monitoring, analysis, and reporting of network infrastructure
  • Hands-on implementation, upgrading, trouble-shooting of network software and hardware infrastructure
  • Manage and prioritize workload
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field of study
  • 8 years of experience in developing best-practices documentation and IT infrastructure architecture
  • Extensive knowledge of network concepts, routing and switching, and firewall security policy management
  • Experience with Cisco layer 1-3 technologies and F5 BIG-IP systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
