Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Bel Air Gardens Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant data.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
