Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

B.C. Cafe Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
  • Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to our staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Recruit and manage a team of food service staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budgets and cost estimates to ensure the efficient operation of our food service department.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
