Transportation Electrical Engineer

Morrison Hershfield, now Stantec, is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Electrical Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design process for transportation electrical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform detailed electrical design work, including the preparation of technical specifications and tender documents.
  • Direct CAD teams for drawing preparation and review deliverables prior to submission to clients.
  • Prepare written reports based on building electrical assessments and audits.
  • Develop business strategies related to new clients and potential growth areas in electrical engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • P.Eng. registration in Canada.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in engineering consulting.
  • CAD experience is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 2006/2004/2008/2010.
  • Knowledge of lighting software and basic engineering is preferred.
