Job Opportunity - Inventory Lead (TIM00043)

Your Next Challenge:

As a key member of the Procurement Department at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of inventory across our operations. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for defining and implementing best-in-class practices for inventory management, providing reports and analysis to meet operational requirements, and driving inventory optimization across the operations.

  1. Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize investment and performance;
  2. Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic initiatives and operational decisions;
  3. Collaborate with mine and regional management to ensure inventory levels meet operational needs;
  4. Establish and maintain inventory controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance;
  5. Support internal and external audits to ensure inventory management practices meet industry standards.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field, Business or Supply Chain Diploma, and/or relevant work experience;
  2. Proven experience in an industrial setting or heavy industry, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles;
  3. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Work Schedule:

  1. Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday;
  2. Work location: Rouyn-Noranda, Val-d'Or, Mirabel, Timmins, Kirkland Lake, Toronto, North Bay, or Sudbury, with occasional travel to site(s) as required.
