Job Opportunity - Inventory Lead (TIM00043)
Your Next Challenge:
As a key member of the Procurement Department at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of inventory across our operations. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for defining and implementing best-in-class practices for inventory management, providing reports and analysis to meet operational requirements, and driving inventory optimization across the operations.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize investment and performance;
- Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic initiatives and operational decisions;
- Collaborate with mine and regional management to ensure inventory levels meet operational needs;
- Establish and maintain inventory controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance;
- Support internal and external audits to ensure inventory management practices meet industry standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, Business or Supply Chain Diploma, and/or relevant work experience;
- Proven experience in an industrial setting or heavy industry, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles;
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday;
- Work location: Rouyn-Noranda, Val-d'Or, Mirabel, Timmins, Kirkland Lake, Toronto, North Bay, or Sudbury, with occasional travel to site(s) as required.
