Inventory Management Specialist

As an Inventory Management Specialist at Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited, you will be responsible for defining and implementing best-in-class practices for inventory management across all aspects of the operation. This includes providing reports and analysis to meet operational requirements and enabling strategic initiatives by providing visibility. You will also be accountable for inventory optimization by balancing investment in inventory versus inventory performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing the inventory standard for all Ontario and Quebec operations and supporting its implementation across other AEM operations as directed. Your goal will be to drive inventory optimization across the operations by working closely with mine and regional management to ensure that the operations have the appropriate levels of inventory to support their operations. You will also be accountable for minimizing and acting on slow-moving inventory, establishing and meeting inventory turnover targets, and ensuring that all inventory forms are signed and completed according to procedures. Furthermore, you will be the owner of inventory controls and support internal and external audits. You will also assist the team as required in change management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, Business or Supply Chain Diploma, and/or appropriate work experience. They will also have strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills, as well as an excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. The schedule for this role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with travel to Site(s) as required.

Key Responsibilities:
