Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Alpine Irrigation. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, removing litter and garbage, laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, applying fertilizers, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, and flowers.
  • Perform weeding, pruning, and trimming tasks to maintain the appearance of gardens and landscapes.
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns to ensure a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Rake and collect refuse, including leaves and other debris.
  • Remove litter and garbage from public areas and private properties.
  • Lay sod or seed to repair damaged lawns and maintain their appearance.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of gardens and landscapes.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Work Term: Seasonal.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
