Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Alpine Irrigation. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, removing litter and garbage, laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, applying fertilizers, and watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, and flowers.
  • Perform weeding, pruning, and trimming tasks to maintain the health and appearance of plants and trees.
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns using various equipment.
  • Rake and collect refuse, including leaves and other debris.
  • Remove litter and garbage from the work area.
  • Lay sod or seed to maintain or repair lawns.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees in designated areas.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote plant growth and health.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Work Term: Seasonal.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
