Job Title: Truck Driver - Over the Road

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced truck driver to join our team at Clear Advantage Transportation Ltd. As a long haul truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a tractor trailer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods

Requirements:

  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate

Work Environment: As a long haul truck driver, you will be on the road for extended periods of time, often overnight. You will be required to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
