WTC TRUCKING BC INC. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to maintain accurate records.
- Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and securing it properly.
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Attention to detail and physical stamina to handle demanding tasks.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes.
- Judgment to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Organized and reliable to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the transportation industry.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
