At Vancouver Coastal Health, we are seeking a Family Physician – Palliative Medicine to join our North Shore Palliative Care team.

Job Summary

As a Family Physician – Palliative Medicine, you will provide high-quality care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, working in a full scope Palliative Care team. You will be based at Lions Gate Hospital and will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, social workers, spiritual care, and music therapy.

Responsibilities
  • Provide palliative care to patients in various settings, including acute care, ambulatory care, and community care.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
Qualifications
  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Full
  • Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP)
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Eligible
