Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Palliative Care Physician to join our team.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will work in at least two of the practice settings and be flexible to work in other settings of care if clinical situations arise.

About the Program
Vancouver General Hospital is a 1000 bed quaternary teaching hospital associated with the University of British Columbia.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist consultation to generalists and specialists within the hospital
- Play an active role in education and research
- Work within the intradisciplinary teams
Qualifications
Education, Licensing, & Experience
- A Medical Degree, current license or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
- Recognized with a Certificate of Added Competency in Palliative Care by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP-PC); Completed "Year of Added Competency" training in Palliative Care at an accredited training site; Certified as a Palliative Medicine Specialist by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC); Holder of Palliative Medicine credentials earned in another jurisdiction that are acceptable to both the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and the governing body of the Health Authority and its Affiliates
- Candidates must also obtain active Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) coverage (or equivalent coverage that must be disclosed)
