Northern Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Outpatient Renal Health Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our Renal Services department, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments according to established guidelines and protocols.
- Provide a range of routine clerical and support functions to ensure the smooth operation of our Renal Services department.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely communication of patient information.
- Utilize computer software applications to manage patient records and maintain accurate data.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Grade 12, medical terminology, and graduation from a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk program plus one year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively and maintain confidentiality.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to keyboard 35 wpm.
- Ability to organize work and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to operate related equipment and software applications.

- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service.
