Job Title: Construction Site Superintendent

Benchmark Building Solutions Inc is seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Superintendent to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Construction Site Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control
  • Read blueprint, schemas and drawings
  • Prepare reports
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction management
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
  • Excellent oral communication, flexibility, and judgement skills
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work on site, with no option to work remotely. The work site environment is outdoors, and the work setting is commercial and/or industrial construction.
