Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support and enhance employee engagement, wellness, and development across our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Employee Engagement & Internal Communication:
    • Chair the Employee Engagement Committee, focusing on social initiatives, wellness programs, and community involvement.
    • Develop and distribute a quarterly newsletter and other internal marketing materials to enhance employee communication.
  • HR Administration & System Management:
    • Manage HCM assignment changes and transactions, including apprentice leaves, parental/maternity leaves, and other employee life-cycle events.
    • Process IT request submissions for both new hires and existing employees in HCM and ORC systems.
    • Handle payroll inquiries and corrections, serving as the backup for payroll processing when needed.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Lead full-cycle hourly recruitment and onboarding, including job postings, review of applications, pre-screening, interviewing, and offers.
    • Conduct orientation sessions.
    • Set up employees in systems such as Necho, Kronos, and E1 for time entry.
    • Coordinate with IT for required devices (phone/computer) and notify relevant contacts for setup.
    • Partner with Divisional Talent Acquisition Team to fill staff-level roles.

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an HR Coordinator role or similar position.
  • Proficiency with HR systems, including ORC and HCM.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
