About the Opportunity

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Technologist to join our team. As a Registered Cardiology Technologist, you will perform noninvasive cardiac diagnostic tests, including electrocardiograms, signal average electrocardiograms, and ambulatory monitoring. You will also be responsible for preparing patients for stress testing and tilt table testing, and for precepting/mentoring new learners in the department.

Travel to other sites may be required.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in cardiology technology, including a Grade 12 diploma and successful completion of a Cardiology Technology program. You should also have current registration and good standing with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists, as well as current BLS (HCP) certification.

  • Recent clinical experience in an ECG department and demonstrated proficiency in performing EKGs, Holter monitors, and stress testing.
  • Strong sense of initiative and responsibility.
  • Ability to adapt to flexible workload and stressful situations.
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.

Hours
  • Permanent full-time position; 75 hours biweekly.
  • Shift work may be required.
Compensation and Incentives

$28.71 - $30.83 hourly.
