Catholic School Administrator

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catholic school leader to join our team at The Northwest Catholic District School Board.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational leadership, fiscal responsibility, and planning in accordance with the Education Act. They will oversee the school, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and develop school action plans to promote student achievement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Catholic education, with a minimum of five years' teaching experience and proven experience in managing and leading organizational change initiatives. They will be able to build a cohesive Catholic school community, working collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
Responsibilities- Provide educational leadership and oversight of the school
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and Education Act
- Develop and implement school action plans to promote student achievement
- Build a cohesive Catholic school community through collaboration with staff, students, and parents
- Manage and lead organizational change initiatives
- Certificate of Registration with the Ontario College of Teachers with Specialist Certification in Religious Education or commitment to obtain
- Principal Qualifications Part 1 and 2 or commitment to complete within two years
- Actively practicing Roman Catholic
- Minimum of five years' successful teaching experience
- Proven experience in managing and leading organizational change initiatives
We offer a comprehensive and generous benefit package, including the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, and a salary range of $114,463 to $127,462 (dependent on position). The successful candidate will be required to produce a satisfactory Criminal Background/Vulnerable Sector Check.
