Job Title: Principal/Vice Principal

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catholic educational leader to join our team as a Principal/Vice Principal at The Northwest Catholic District School Board.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational leadership, fiscal responsibility, and planning in accordance with the requirements set out in the Education Act. This includes:

  • Overseeing the school and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
  • Developing and implementing school action plans and plans for student achievement
  • Working collaboratively with students, teachers, and other school-based staff members, system resource personnel, parents, and community members
  • Providing leadership in the school, school community, and system as a whole
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Certificate of Registration with the Ontario College of Teachers with Specialist Certification in Religious Education or the commitment to obtain
  • Principal Qualifications Part 1 and 2 or the commitment to complete in two years
  • Actively practicing Roman Catholic
  • A minimum of five years' successful teaching experience
  • Proven experience in managing and leading successful organizational change initiatives at the school or Board level
What We Offer

We offer a comprehensive and generous benefit package, including the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, a salary range of $114,463 to $127,462 (dependent on position), and a 10-month employment contract.
