Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Associate to join our team at Bank of Montreal. As an Actuarial Associate, you will play a key role in assisting the Director, Capital & Inforce Management, in executing various capital & inforce management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the production of quarterly LICAT filing
  • Provide support in the implementation of the LICAT guideline changes and various capital optimization initiatives
  • Conduct analysis and assessment on results
  • Implement enhancements to the capital & inforce management process
  • Update and create documentation and procedures for processes as appropriate, as well as prepare change management documentation
Requirements
  • Completion of a University degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a similar discipline
  • Completion of at least 4 SOA or equivalent actuarial exams and actively pursuing fellowship
  • Minimum of 2+ year's experience
  • Working understanding of Corporate Actuarial and/or Pricing analysis methodology & reporting
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Life Insurance products is an asset
  • Knowledge of Moody's Analytics AXIS is an asset
