Job Title: Executive Chef

Join CHASKA INDIAN STREET FOOD OBSESSION as an Executive Chef and take charge of our kitchen operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate special events and determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for realization
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Client focus, dependability, flexibility, judgement, reliability, team player, and time management skills
