Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team at SaveMax Staffing Solutions. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Assist with payroll processing, including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including statistical and accounting reports, for management review.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, accurate, and excellent written communication skills. They will also be a team player with strong time management skills.
