Job Summary

BMO is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Banking Professional to join our team. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and prospects, identifying their needs, and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their best interests.

You will work collaboratively with our team to deliver a personalized customer experience, grow our business, and achieve overall business objectives. Your strong interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and connections with customers, and drive to deliver a personal customer experience will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with existing customers and prospects to grow loyalty and identify immediate and future opportunities.
  • Engage customers to complete needs assessments that identify financial solutions and preferred banking channels.
  • Offer clients advice and guidance on available digital and self-serve options.
  • Support customer transactions needs based on customer traffic.
  • Grow BMO's business by reaching out, generating appointments, and building new relationships within the community.
  • Address questions and resolve issues raised through consumer credit audits and quality checks.
  • Apply the risk management framework to protect the Bank's assets and maintain the quality of the lending portfolio.
  • Makes credit recommendations for personal lending transactions.
  • Act as a key member of a collaborative and versatile branch and market team.

Qualifications:

  • Active Mutual Fund License - IFC or IFIC or CSC required.
  • Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Registration to sell investment products completed - as appropriate for the jurisdiction.
  • Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
  • Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions.
  • Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products.
  • Experience in financial services is an asset.
  • Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications.
  • Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role, with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
  • Passionate commitment to helping our customers.

Salary:

$35,700.00 - $66,100.00

Pay Type:

Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group's pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards. BMO also offers health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
