Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including soups, salads, and entrees
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, including equipment and utensils
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and efficient food preparation
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
