Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Alberta Ltd O/A River Rock Grill. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality in our food and beverage offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Human Resources: Conduct performance reviews, cost products and services, and organize and maintain inventory to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, provide customer service, and participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Supervision: Supervise 3-4 people, 5-10 people, or working groups to ensure effective team management and leadership.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and perform physically demanding tasks to maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and team player qualities to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Support for newcomers and refugees, including foreign credential recognition and diversity and cross-cultural training.
  • Support for Indigenous people, including cultural competency training and awareness.
  • Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
