Job Title: Garage Door Installer Helper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Garage Door Installer Helper to join our team at Overhead Door Corporation. As a key member of our installation crew, you will assist in the service and installation of overhead doors, working closely with our experienced technicians to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation and service of overhead doors, including site preparation, door assembly, and testing.
  • Work collaboratively with the installation team to ensure efficient and safe execution of projects.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge of overhead door systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Field Operations Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-6 months' experience in a relevant trade (construction, welding, millwright).
  • Resourcefulness, integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
  • Any relevant safety training and tickets is an asset (WHMIS, Fall Protection, First Aid).
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements, including drug, alcohol, and health assessment.
