Paralegal/Legal Assistant Role

Destinationone Consulting is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Assistant to support our legal team in various sectors, including Healthcare, Health Tech, Government, Municipalities, NonProfits, and Legal. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist lawyers in preparing legal documents, including contracts and pleadings, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant information for cases, utilizing industry-standard software and tools.
  • Manage case files, maintaining up-to-date documentation and ensuring seamless communication with clients, courts, and other legal professionals.
  • Coordinate with clients, courts, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient case management and resolution.
  • Prepare for trials, hearings, and corporate meetings, ensuring all necessary materials are readily available.
Requirements:
  • Paralegal diploma or equivalent legal education.
  • 2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, with a strong understanding of legal research and case management principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in legal research and case management software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, lawyers, and other stakeholders.
