Job Title: Paralegal/Legal Assistant

At destinationone Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our legal support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lawyers in preparing legal documents, including contracts and pleadings, and ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant information for cases, utilizing industry-standard software and resources.
  • Manage case files, maintaining up-to-date documentation and ensuring seamless communication with clients, courts, and other legal professionals.
  • Coordinate with clients, courts, and other legal professionals to ensure timely and effective case management.
  • Prepare for trials, hearings, and corporate meetings, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Paralegal diploma or equivalent legal education.
  • 2+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, with a strong understanding of legal research and case management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
