Administrative Lead for Student Experience Enhancement

Algonquin College seeks a highly skilled and experienced individual to serve as an Associate Chair, Algonquin Centre Construction Excellence. This leadership position plays a critical role in supporting the Chairs of Academic Departments within the ACCE.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will provide management functions in support of the Chairs, including investigating student complaints, reviewing academic appeals, monitoring academic dishonesty cases, and facilitating grade review processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students to resolve issues and enhance their experience.
- Lead performance development and enhancement of the other-than-full-time professor/instructor/technician/technologist pool.
- Provide Academic Leadership in managing staff, participating in Program Evaluation, Marketing Promotions, and Continuous Improvement of the student experience.
- Other duties as assigned by the Dean.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a four-year degree related to management, education, social sciences, or a construction field.
- A minimum of five years' experience in increasingly responsible roles.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to teaching excellence and quality education from a student perspective.
- Experience dealing with difficult situations and delivering formal presentations to varied audiences.
Compensation and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be paid at Payband 10, with a salary range of $85,529-$106,911 annually. The position also offers benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
