We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Liberty Tax Service. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer network equipment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network infrastructure.
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintaining control records as required.
  • Data backups and disaster recovery operations will also be an integral part of your role.
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring seamless connectivity.
Requirements:
  • College or CEGEP education in Computer Science or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in network administration, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, network architecture, and network security principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
