Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Preferred Personal Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to adults and seniors in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as well as light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking and transferring.
  • Administer medications and provide wound care, as needed.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Personal Support Worker program or equivalent experience.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with adults and seniors with complex care needs.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols, including infection control and fall prevention.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform physical demands of the job.
