Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure the store is staffed accordingly.
  • Sell merchandise and promote products to customers.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to ensure seamless store operations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 to less than 7 months of retail experience.
  • Ability to provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Experience in recruiting and mentoring newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Knowledge of diversity and cross-cultural training.
