Role Overview

The Sales Associate plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth at LensCrafters. This dynamic individual will be responsible for cultivating existing customer relationships, building new ones, and consistently meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings, ensuring customers receive tailored solutions.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames, coordinating frames with optical measurements, and providing expert guidance on vision solutions.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Participate in creating a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized store appearance, adhering to company standards.
  • Contribute to an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect and empathy.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills
  • Ability to sell through effective use of sales skills and accountability for sales results
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Self-motivation and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
