Advantage Flooring & Painting, a leading provider of flooring solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expanding our customer base.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with potential and existing customers. Your role will involve a blend of sales acumen and product expertise, ensuring that clients receive first-class service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Conduct site assessments, provide demonstrations, and propose custom flooring solutions to meet client needs.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets through effective sales strategies and techniques.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling sales pitches and presentations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, handling queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market activities, and competitive behaviors to enhance sales strategies.
  • Submit detailed and accurate sales reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, workshops, and other promotional events.
  • Manage schedules and appointments effectively, and travel to client locations as required.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure post-sale support is being managed effectively.
Requirements
  • Proven track record as a Field Sales Representative with a strong sales background.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong motivation and a drive to succeed in a competitive environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage various project elements simultaneously.
  • High level of independence, accountability, and self-motivation.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transportation to and from client sites.
  • Ability to navigate various technologies, including CRM software, data entry systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed within the assigned territory, potentially including evenings and weekends.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
