Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Native Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students at a private school located in a remote location. We offer a competitive salary and a range of benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and document students' progress, discussing results with parents, students, and school officials.
  • Participate in educational conferences and workshops to enhance teaching skills.
  • Develop course content and provide tutoring assistance as needed.
  • Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help.
  • Teach students using various methods, including lessons, discussions, and field trips.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in teaching.
  • Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate.
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, as per collective agreement. Other benefits include relocation costs covered by the employer.
