Accounts Payable Supervisor

As a key member of the finance team, the Accounts Payable Supervisor will play a central role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the timely processing of a high volume of vendor invoices/credits, reviewing and processing payments, and ensuring that the accounts payable function conducts a three-way match between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the timely processing of a high volume of vendor invoices/credits
Support the accounts payable process as both a leader and a hands-on contributor by reviewing and processing payments
Ensure that the accounts payable function conducts a three-way match between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
Verify that invoices are properly coded to ensure self-assessment of sales/use tax compliance with all relevant tax regulations
Ensure the accounts payable team promptly archives and scans all documents
Serve as a liaison between the office and corporate headquarters on accounts payable matters
Supervise and participate in month-end closing activities to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have held a similar role in the past, have good knowledge of Excel and an ERP system, and training in accounting. Proficiency in both English and French is also required.
