Accounts Payable Supervisor

As a key member of the finance team, the Accounts Payable Supervisor will play a central role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full accounts payable cycle, including the timely processing of vendor invoices and credits, reviewing and processing payments, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the timely processing of a high volume of vendor invoices and credits.
- Support the accounts payable process by reviewing and processing payments.
- Ensure that the accounts payable function conducts a three-way match between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
- Verify that invoices are properly coded to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Ensure the accounts payable team promptly archives and scans all documents.
- Serve as a liaison between the Longueuil office and corporate headquarters on accounts payable matters.
- Supervise and participate in month-end closing activities to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Held a similar role in the past.
- Languages spoken: English and French.
- Good knowledge of Excel and an ERP system.
- Training in accounting.
