Accounts Payable Supervisor

As a key member of the finance team, the Accounts Payable Supervisor will play a central role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the timely processing of a high volume of vendor invoices/credits, reviewing and processing payments, and ensuring that the accounts payable function conducts a three-way match between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the timely processing of vendor invoices/credits
- Support the accounts payable process as a leader and hands-on contributor
- Ensure accurate G/L account numbers and detailed descriptions for each transaction
- Verify self-assessment of sales/use tax compliance with all relevant tax regulations
- Serve as a liaison between the Longueuil office and corporate headquarters on accounts payable matters
- Supervise and participate in month-end closing activities
- Similar role experience
- Good knowledge of Excel and an ERP system
- Training in accounting
