Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at SUBWAY SANDWICHES AND SALADS. As a Food Service Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have a positive experience in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, and portion and wrap foods to meet customer demands.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure that our customers have access to a wide range of options.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to meet customer demands.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to ensure that our customers have access to a wide range of options.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in our restaurant, and proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to meet the demands of our customers.
